Still,
Life
One table, one wall, one chair. And something different on the plate each time.
Over several years, the photographs return to the same table. The setting stays, the objects change. So do the light, the mood and the stories we find in things.
From the light of everyday life to the dark of the still life: in two parts, the series traces small shifts between the familiar and the strange, lightness and impermanence.

Part I
Day
A pale wall, warm wood, light from the side. Familiar things find their place — until something slips out of balance.
Part II
Night
The light recedes and the background darkens. On the pedestal and the plate, form, surface and impermanence come into view.
The things remain. The way we see them changes.
